Weather For Aristotle, Plato, Einstein, St. Augustine, Kant
St. Augustine said about time, "What is time?, If you ask me I know, if I want to explain not know." Balmer said, "nothing is easier to tell time, but nothing more difficult than conceive in its essence. "
Time is a continuum that can not be referred, but the permanent base subjected to mutation. It is a continuum, because it is a "quantum" (minimum amount of energy that could be issued, spread or be absorbed), in which the ends of the constituent parts are few, it is referred, in which it differs from the space, which is an order of coexistence and, finally, is something hard and something that changes, because the order of nature, not given be absolute or absolute becoming.
Time and space, of the things that exist in space are said to coexist, of which exist in time is said to occur and those that can be placed in the same time, are said to be simultaneous.
For Einstein, the space was closed and finite time, infinite. The theory gained more predicament and that even today many agree, is that of Aristotle, who defines time as the number or measure of motion according to before and after.
The fundamental idea that serves as a starting point to determine the idea of time is the idea of mutations or changes that experience finite beings in the universe on its own determination or influence each other.
For Plato, time was of the soul's life, while life was eternity of being fully intelligible absolute and immutable.
St. Augustine maintains the target crácter the idea of time, arguing that time was created by God, when the world was created, but instead refer to the soul of the world, referring to the human soul, which does not stop to argue that the present time is the only measured by the conscience: it is a present of things present, attention, a present of things past in memory, and a present of things future expectation.
For the German philosopher Kant, space and time are pure intuitions of sensibility. For him, time is a product of the very constitution of our mind, is antecedent to the knowledge of phenomena and subjective requirement of our representations.
The time and space, have an empirical reality as is the a priori condition of all possible experience, and transcendental ideality, as it has no value beyond any objective experience.
