Adobe Flash Web Applications - Making a cult right in the world of Web development
From simple 2D animated intro with objects flying at full power desktop applications, Flash has evolved big time. It is taking the world by becoming an authoritative and comprehensive web development platform. Powered by programming Actionscript 3.0, Flash is rapidly changing the face of the web with rich Internet applications that promise greater interactivity and captivating appeal.
From Futurewave to Macromedia and now Adobe, Flash has had three owners in its 13 year existence. Over the years, every latest version of Flash has led to other new features, animation tools, programming interfaces and ready for use, the components that allow designers to develop Internet applications extravagant.
Internet-based Web Applications:
The first use was to develop the Flash animation tools with a simple plug-in that was compatible with the prevailing browsers like IE and Netscape. A temporal sequence has been used to control the entry and exit, the movement and rotation of the vector graphics placed in a single layer, which were then collected to form a simple clip movie. The scope of interactivity and the winning design was minimal.
Compared to the primal version, Flash CS4 Professional, the suite incorporates highly advanced features that allow designers and developers:
1. Object-based animation
2. Definition of key frames used to manage the automatic interpolation of animation
3. Motion path generated automatically
4. Motion Editor with easy to use tools for greater granular control over attributes and many other
There are no time-based animations as Actionscript able to control their movements or users can activate the same action. This feature makes the Flash interactivity as one of the most popular platforms for casual games, online shopping portals, sites of simulation-based tourist attractions, virtual, online, etc. Furthermore, the integration of open content without compromising the integrity of files by other software such as Adobe InDesign, Flash, AfterEffects to make a powerful platform for creating rich Internet applications.
Adobe Flash is facing a stiff challenge from its rival Silverlight, Microsoft's product. Adobe is planning to launch Adobe Flash CS5 Professional (Ver 11) in April 2010. Codenamed 'Viper', this release is intended to contain text formatting, the Deco tool extensible, XML-based FLA Code Snippets panel, Flash Builder integration, improved ActionScript editor and much-anticipated iPhone Packager tailored Flash to run applications in the iPhone. So, there will be much more than ever expected, and Flash designers and developers just enjoy working on it .......
