Network Theory How is Communication?

Well, this time going to risk trying to explain all the ways that you can understand and without using jargon (or Trand to avoid using them) and can communicate in the world all devices have the ability to connect to a computer network. It is true that there are networks and networks, it is true that networks are very large and very small networks, the smallest has two larger systems and other devices includes the world that are connected to each network is an example of Internet is nothing but a network that allows systems worldwide to share information because this is the purpose of a network, or good, this was years ago when it created the first network to give way to what today is known as Internet If you are curious you can read more about this network called ARPANET. Well, it's quite simple, logical or at least the way computer systems interact, if we are logical and try to reduce everything to a minimum exponent will see very clearly the operation of any network, the more we understand much better the "complex? operation of any computer system. I always like it when I explain something to try to find a real life example in clear and simple that anyone can rely and in this case I will use the telephone network, the pole is bassa in phone booths, in switchboards and many other devices, wired and wireless devices that enable hundreds of millions of terminals establish communications and share information across the world as a computer network and even that often operates through the own telephone network (ADSL lines).

Part of an infrastructure that "envuleve? the world as if it were a "network? fishing through which establishes the exchange of information but for this we see some points that should be taken into account and I'll try to do so by similarities between the telephone network and the computer network.

1. We need a transmitter / receiver and a transmitter / receiver for communication can be established capable of translating the information to be useful: Red and telephony: A personaRed computer: A computer system, PC, server, PDA ... 2. We need a device capable of sending and receiving information through compatible TRANSMISSION and receiver / transmitter: Telephony Network: Terminal as a landline telephone or computer móvilRed: A network device as a network card, modem or other device: 3. A means by which to establish communication: Network and telephony: computer cables or airer: Cables or air With this we have everything in order to establish communication but .... How do I locate the different devices? Easy .. when we make a phone call dialing a code that allows us to establish communication with a terminal ua telefónicoen concrete and for this we use several values: 1. A code of country2. A locaclidad3 code. A unique identification number that localidad4. In case of exchange, a distinguishing number of a terminal and see and although these do not use them when making a call as a general rule the country code is omitted and the centrlita is used more rarely.

This translated into the computer system changes and IP addresses are used are also defined so that as the IP addresses used is a "class? or another as we see in Network Classes A, B and C as identified by its IP address and subnet mask that is my other blog about technical computing, and good keeping with the theme, IP addresses are used, and the "ports ? it is as if we used transmission channels through which we can isolate the delivery of some types of information from others. I mean, this is an article perhaps overly technical but I think I can help the curious and fans of this website to have a firm foundation to learn much more and maybe in the future .... ye may be other readers of my web space! We, trying to explain what ports, for example when we surf the Internet in the background while working with IP addresses are also working with a port automatically when we perform an action network operating system as it is scheduled to established the connection request made by one or another port, this way when we surf the Internet we do not know certainly that the port needed for this is the number 80, or 443 depending on what page we are seeing, however we can navigate smoothly no not even have this information.

The world of communications networks is very complex and there are many points that could be taken into account, indeed, if to say everything about networks need a blog dedicated to that end ever to update and which could not become a office because my knowledge of this is minimal ... I hope this first contact will be interesting and I ask please Mn content for this blog, that I never tire of repeating it, just ask me about what you wish me to write, and I I will and try to teach and give as much information as you necesitis. No more I say goodbye as you are eager to see a few more every day that I've read, thanks to those few ctor, I hope gradually to create a great community.
