Outraged Israelis, Indignaos Of Truth

Outraged Israelis really indignaos

Meléndez López Teodulo

If somewhere were to appear "outraged" was in Israel. There are sufficient reasons for anger with the government of Benjamin Netanyahu. And indeed, appeared, claiming primarily by the high cost of housing, for taxes and the high cost of living. As each day passes there are new demands on social assistance, education, health and economic policy, especially on wages.

Since power is clouded study responds to an answer, but you can not divert any funds from defense spending to meet social because the State of Israel would be in grave danger. One wonders if the "grave danger" given the situation in Arab countries is that of a Palestinian people to the UN demanding the creation of their state or is expected to increase an Iranian attack while rumors of an Israeli decision attack Iran.

The "outraged" Israelis should then lay eyes on the foreign policy of his country and to find explanations for many of the socioeconomic crisis which they live. Should be reminded that the Palestinians have asked the United Nations recognition as a state. Previously President Obama called for a return of Israel to the 1967 borders which caused a strong response from the government's right. Already more than one hundred countries recognize Palestine as a state, but remember the "outraged Israelis such resolutions.

Resolution 181 of November 29 of 147 recommending the partition of Palestine into a Jewish state, an Arab state and an area under special international regime. Resolution 194 of December 11, 1948 decided, as a result of the forced expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians: "there is room to allow refugees who want to return home as soon as possible and live in peace with their neighbors, and that compensation should be paid as compensation for the property of those choosing not to return to their homes and all the goods that have been lost or damaged, under the principles of international law or in equity, this loss or this damage must be repaired by the Governments or authorities responsible. " Resolution 446 of March 22, 1979, states that the creation of settlements by Israel in the Arab territories occupied since 1967 have no legal validity and constitute a serious obstruction to achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the the Middle East. It also calls on Israel to as the occupying power, abide scrupulously by the Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, rescind its previous measures and "desist from any action that result in changing the legal status and geographical nature and materially affecting the demographic composition of the Arab territories occupied since 1967, including Jerusalem, and in particular not to transfer parts of its own civilian population into the occupied Arab territories. "

Resolution 478 of August 20, 1980, which considers the Israeli decision to occupy Jerusalem as a violation of international law and determined that the Law of Jerusalem and all other measures and legislative and administrative actions taken by Israel, the occupying power, have altered or purport to alter the character and status of Jerusalem "are null and void and must be rescinded immediately."

Should be reminded to "outraged" successive Israeli failure of bilateral negotiations, the maintenance of the construction of illegal settlements in Palestinian territory, the blockade of Gaza and, finally, that the Palestinians have decided to present its request to the United Nations pursuit of a state.

Exhausted, as they are, other pathways, Palestine tries its unilateral declaration of independence to the 1967 United Nations. It will be a simple gesture, but will ensure greater international pressure, as she surely will be accompanied by non-violent resistance, so we will see Israeli soldiers beating peaceful protesters on the conscience of the world and especially Americans.

We understand that advertising can be done about violent protesters or simply provoke them until they become at it, but the more serious issue is that if Israel persists in its West Bank settlements will be virtually impossible to separate the two states and for Arabs are the only way there would be Israeli citizens and there would be no Jewish state of Israel as the Arab majority would, unless you resort to the South African apartheid. The rulers in Tel Aviv even close on the understanding between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, as unacceptable, but do not accept is the need for a reconciliation between Palestinian factions.

As we have said the initiative does not end with the creation of a Palestinian state because not enough overwhelming declaration of the General Assembly, since it requires the approval of the Security Council. We might see the United States exercising their right to veto. Meanwhile, Israel remains an intense diplomatic campaign at the close of September, one that is already described as "black." The Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been instructed to press countries and media with the message that if the UN adopts the Palestinian track will be requested by the thesis is impossible in the two states. The Palestinian side is the fear that an overwhelming vote in favor wake celebrations, accompanied by frustration, and that peaceful resistance plans to become a new intifada. For its part, Israel has been passed to the threats, the UN and the European Union will be announcing a "unilateral measures" without specifying. It is possible to attach large blocks of Israeli settlements built illegally in the occupied West Bank.

Perhaps the solution to this crisis can only come from within Israel, a decision of its people to live and live with the Palestinian people covered by the legal umbrella of a state. Israelis should be outraged by something other than their salaries, the cost of living and the price of their homes. Should be outraged by the misdeeds of their government against an oppressed people. Among people should understand. From there you need to ask the "outraged" Israelis who really indignant.
