Business Management Books - Recommended for your personal library
For those of us who have chosen a career in business, it makes sense to have all the necessary reference books business at hand. Thus, when giving speeches to college for MBA students, I often recommend to start building your library business now. In fact, my company library is somewhere between 3500 and 4000 books and lately, I raced through it and give away books I do not need since I am now retired.
However, I'm not throwing all the books yet completely, because they say that the entrepreneurial itch runs deep, and if he chooses to show himself again, then I want to be ready. So, with this truth said, let me suggest some of the books that remain on my shelves personal affairs that have to do with the management company. If you do not have these books, I recommend considering them for your car:
"The One Minute Manager Gets Fit" by Kenneth Blanchard, PhD. - 1986
"Market Driven Management - Requirements for survival in a turbulent world" - B. Charles Ames and James D. Hlavacek - 1989.
Market Driven Management is the key to winning in the new paradigm of the market fast, highly competitive, global markets and "The technologies that explode and higher RD and costs," says the author.
"Getting to the Bottom Line IT - Management by incremental gains" by Richard S. Sloma - 1987.
This book explains how managers can grow their business activities and management of goal setting, careful evaluation and repeating this process. There is a sort of get rich quick way to go about your business and the author explains that it takes discipline, but assures the reader that this works.
There is much talk of planning 'profit' business, after all people are in business to make money. In the second half of the book he spends his time on the important task of measuring financial performance, and how to use this knowledge to design, set new goals and continue to refine the process of making money, the bottom line.
I wish you all the best in and help out the best books of business to business applications with the library wish you continued success in your business career if you are a manager, executive or business owner small business without fear .......
